Purpose

I will try my best to provide detailed info on various cars and what is like to live with them, I have already produced a few for Jaguar-car-forums, I will do my best to be unbiased, but it will be hard for some cars. I will re-produce press releases and copy from other motoring news.

Peugeot continues to push forward with an increasing presence in world tennis, more sponsorship's & brand ambassadors

  • PEUGEOT is increasing its support for world tennis in a coordinated approach
  • Strong commitment to the sport evidenced by 32-year sponsorship of the French Open
  • World No.1 Novak Djokovic has been a PEUGEOT brand ambassador since 2013
  • World Doubles No.2 Jamie Murray is a PEUGEOT UK brand ambassador since January 2016
With the Davis Cup in British hands for the first time in decades, the profile of UK tennis has never been higher. The growth in popularity is being echoed by PEUGEOT, which has increased its commitment over three-decades with a program of support with a raft of new initiatives for 2016.

At the heart of the brand’s commitment is its sponsorship of the French Open Tennis Championships at the legendary Roland Garros venue, which dates back to 1984. PEUGEOT is privileged and delighted to count world No.1 Novak Djokovic among its brand ambassadors, a relationship now into its third year.
The 2016 tennis season started in spectacular fashion at the Australian Open, with PEUGEOT in the thick of the action. The brand has increased its support in partnership with the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour – and in the UK with British Tennis (LTA) – as its Official Car. These agreements see PEUGEOT providing transportation for both players and officials.
For 2016 PEUGEOT becomes a Platinum Partner of the ATP World Tour as well as the Official Car at more than 20 ATP World Tour tournaments. Some 500 vehicles, including the 308 SW, 3008, 5008 and MPV people-carriers will provide top class transport for players, officials and VIPs.
PEUGEOT UK has also signed a two-year sponsorship arrangement with Jamie Murray - Britain’s No.1 doubles tennis player and doubles world No.2 and winner of two grand slams.
Andrew Didlick, PEUGEOT UK Director of Brand Partnerships, commented: “As a brand with a very rich history, a broad product range and competitively well-specified vehicles, PEUGEOT is keen to play a key role in the growing appeal of tennis. Our new initiatives for 2016 are timely when there is so much focus on the sport. Our product range is perfectly positioned to support the LTA and ATP in their endeavours to go ever further with tennis and get more people involved in this great sport.”
The three year brand partnership between PEUGEOT UK and British Tennis (LTA) has the shared mission to help get more people playing tennis more often.  PEUGEOT UK plans to support this at a grass roots level and to build upon its tennis association by giving support at a local level in the UK.
As part of the partnership with British Tennis, PEUGEOT will be the Official Car, supplying cars during the ATP tournaments to players and officials.
