Fifth consecutive year that Hyundai is recognized by Ruedas ESPN
Hyundai’s all-new 2016 Tucson was named today “Best Compact Crossover” byRuedas ESPN. Presented at the 45th annual Miami International Auto Show, this year’s award marks the fifth time in a row Hyundai has been recognized by the leading Spanish-language automotive radio show in the U.S.
“The all-new 2016 Hyundai Tucson has everything a young family needs and more,” said Jaime Florez,Ruedas ESPN director and host. “The Tucson is a class-leading compact crossover with its appealing combination of bold design, comfort, functionality and advanced safety technologies.”
For the 13th annual Ruedas ESPN awards, an executive committee was responsible for generating the nominations. The industry experts group of jurors selected the winners of the twelve basic categories in addition to the top prize, “Ruedas ESPN Car of the Year”.

Broadcast live on ESPN Deportes Radio, Ruedas ESPN can be heard on more than 48 radio stations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico as well as SIRIUS and XM Channel 157. Every Sunday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. ET, hosts Jaime Florez, Niky Pauli, and Sergio Rodriguez share their common passion for cars, engineering, and motorsport with thousands of Hispanics.
The all-new 2016 Tucson is sculpted with a sporty new design, engineered with enhanced fuel efficiency and equipped with advanced safety technologies, all with a starting price of $22,700.
